Tomorrow's my birthday, but I feel like shit right now.
I don’t want to remember my 18th birthday by my mom being an ocean away, my dad working, my friends fighting or ignoring me. If you’re going to be nasty to me, do it on any of the 364 days that isn’t my birthday. Just do me the common courtesy of being nice to me on my birthday.

For the 7 years I’ve known McFly, Tom and Giovanna have been together. I remember fans making petitions for Tom to propose to her and it was always in the back of my mind of when the big question would pop up. So yesterday while I was at work, a friend of mine called me screaming “TOM AND GIOVANNA-.” I had to cut her off because I was working and hung up on her, but I got to thinking what could she have been so excited about? Then it came to me, he had to have proposed! She soon texted me and forwarded Tom’s tweet about the engagement. It made the rest of my shift a happy one. Customers were curious about the huge, toothy smile on my face so I told them that ‘friends of mine’ just got engaged. What else was I supposed to say? I spent all of my teenage years and then some with McFly. I grew up with them; I felt like I really knew them. So when Tom and Giovanna got engaged, my heart swelled. I’m so happy for you two and wish you nothing but the best!
